FUCK THESE FUCKING CREEPY BLOGGERS, MAN. WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE DOING?

STEREOGUM IS COOL WITH THIS KIND OF โ€œREPORTINGโ€ AT HARDCORE FESTIVALS FROM GROWN ASS MONGOLOID MEN.

I just want to say this, these are my opinions and do not reflect those of anyone else I work for, although I like to think they do.

I am not trying to be a music journalist; that ship has fucking sailed.

Iโ€™m a photographer, a music photographer, and one of the most renowned in punk and hardcore. I never talk like this, but I need to acknowledge it so it doesnโ€™t seem like Iโ€™m just another person with an opinion, and instead, someone who has been in this world for over a decade, documenting.

Yes, I do love to write about music. It just doesnโ€™t do the thing it used to for me. But also, nor does being a fucking stereotypical middle-aged creepy fucking photographer. I would hate to feel like this, then work for a publication where some other guy is gonna write about the festival I photographed like a complete fucking piece of shit creeper, and now my photos are attached to this dude and his fucking shitty behavior.

It is not worth sacrificing your integrity as a photographer for a writer who is a piece of shit at a media outlet that ainโ€™t paying you enough to live anyway.

I like the site's focus to be photography, graphic edits, and all sorts of weird creations centered around music. With that being said, there are some fucking losers out here calling themselves music journalists, throwing absolute garbage at you while taking media passes from people who actually love the culture, the music, and the community we are all a part of. I donโ€™t want to ever be lumped in with mother fuckers who talk about the quality of the way women look at shows. That is royally fucking stupid and not remotely close to journalism.

Itโ€™s just your stupid fucking rant into your notes app at the festivals. Fuck every single lazy journo doing this bull shit. You deserve better. Hardcore and Punk deserve better. Put your energy into something other than these fucking weirdo media outlets who just say shit for clicks, clout, or to be edge lords. Itโ€™s so fucking corny to see it still happening. Do whatever you can to make it stop. I am doing my best!

I totally understand that being a journalist isnโ€™t just gushing or waxing poetic about your favorite artists. Thatโ€™s what I do, itโ€™s not journalism. Iโ€™m a fanboy documenting my favorite scene in the world, Detroit Hardcore and Punk. Thatโ€™s all I ever wanted to do.

Sure, I would love to be on staff at a massive media outlet and push our shit into the forefront. I just donโ€™t think โ€œjournalistsโ€ need to talk about the way people in the crowd look to introduce their โ€œMoshing Through Mental Healthโ€ article about a recent hardcore festival. It pissed me off so bad that I called the dude out and told him not to come to Detroit. Fuck this shit. You can be critical and objective in the music industry as a fucking journalist and not talk about the caliber of womenโ€™s looks at a hardcore festival. Not only that, but to say everyone looks like a country star at a hardcore festival just shows exactly the truth behind this fuckhead.

Dudes like this need to be fucking dealt with so that when they go and decide to write about hardcore music, they write about that shit, not the fucking missed quota of muff in the room. I fucking hate this shit.

Hardcore prides itself on being a safe space for people of all walks of life who feel like a fucking reject or a loner to come and find their people. If youโ€™re out there flying the flag for hardcore under the banner of a massive media outlet, you better fucking come correct with that shit, asshole. You are representing a 45+ year old cultural movement. This isnโ€™t the space for you to act out your fucking Hunter S. Thompson or Hugh Hefner cosplay dreams, Tim at Stereogum.
You fucking bloated walrus.

Not trying to reinvent the wheel here fuckhead, just trying to get you to see that your edgelord drivel doesnโ€™t mean shit to the people who put in the work on Tuesdays, not just the faux celebrity you are and taking the paid flights to hardcore festivals to comment on womenโ€™s bodies and the clothing theyโ€™re wearing. Fuck you. Straight from Detroit, you fucking clown shoe-wearing dumb fuck mother fucker.

Also, fuck anyone saying this is a one-off. This is every fucking post by this dude. He is a fucking piece of shit with all the hallmarks of a mother fucking predator in waiting. Yeah bitch, I fucking said it. No mother fucking nice guy talks like you do. And they sure as shit donโ€™t post shit like this when the fucking climate of the god damn news landscape is that 62 million men visited a website designed to teach them how to rape women. But yes, tell us about the women at United Blood. It just seems like you need to go to a festival that doesnโ€™t give a fuck about the people who are there. So maybe this is a point where actual gatekeepers come and revoke this fucking loserโ€™s media credentials from gigs before he gets his fucking face blasted inward with the butt of a Canon camera.

Yโ€™all tell me if this Dude in question is the kind of reporter you want in hardcore and punk music and coming to shows. Maybe Iโ€™m soft in my old age but at a time where more women than ever are a part of our culture, maybe give them some fucking respect asshole and let them be comfortable at a fucking festival not having to think โ€œsome fucking ogre is gonna write about me in a media outlet review for 500 people to argue about and one 42 year old photographer to lose his mind over itโ€.

Knowimsayin?

Write about the music CHUD, I donโ€™t give a fuck what anyone was wearing. I donโ€™t care about the ratio of people. I just want to know about the sets. The speeches. The moshing. The diving. The sing-alongs. You fucking dickhead, making this about mental health and then immediately making all people there think twice about what they look like or wear and shit. Like, no one really cares. But they donโ€™t want to get online and see your write-up about how you think they bought their Merauder shirt last year instead of having it gifted by their drunk uncle. Fuck you, man. God Damn.
I hope the target is bigger than your bloated fucking head, Tim.

Fuck that Zach Bryan comment, man. Loser.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE MATTERโ€ฆ

THIS JUST MAKES ME WANT TO BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND.
THE ENTIRE FUCKING THING.
THE. ENTIRE. FUCKING. THING.

THANKS FOR THE SPARK, TIM. YOU INFLATED RHINO HEMORRHOID.
