COLD CAVE CLOSES OUT THEIR TOUR IN DETROIT AT SAINT ANDREWβS HALL

Post-Punk legends Cold Cave closed out their tour in Detroit, Michigan, a couple of weekends ago, and I was able to drop in from a busy schedule and snag their set. It almost didnβt work out, but we made it happen on my end, and Iβm so glad it worked. This was atop the bucket list for this style of music. Taking me back to City Club days as a young weirdo spending weekends dancing like a doofus to Apoptygma Berzerk and VNV Nation, wondering why some dude was always spitting on the floor, still donβt know why. Anyway, their set at the Hall was something I felt I needed after the last month and a half. A pallet cleanser. A soul healer. A true cathartic set that had nothing to fucking do with hardcore music or my never-ending projects with NOFX. This is why I love music photography, doing stuff I donβt normally get to do.
