Shows like this are pretty synonymous with Downriver tbh. I cannot remember a hardcore benefit show I went to down there where a fight didn’t break out. This was no different, a real “welcome home” moment for me. Rest in Peace Jason.

Hardcore heavyweight dominators Sunami are winding down their co-headlining tour with Scowl and made a late tour stop at Detroit's Majestic complex. Originally slated for the Majestic Theatre, the show was moved last minute to the Magic Stick. The room was packed to the gills. Smart move to move from a barrier with security catching crowd surfers to a no barricade show with stage diving.

Then I got approved and woke up the day of the show sick with the flu. And of course, more denials. Then I had to not put in once for inventory at my old job. It just seemed like a lost cause
