**DRAIN, NO PRESSURE, HAYWIRE, SECRET WORLD, and CYADINE**

**1600+ STOLE HAPPINESS FROM TOMORROW IN DETROIT**

DRAIN dropped their newest album earlier this year, and to support “… Is Your Friend” the homeys booked a tour with a lineup built for stage dives. Detroit was lucky enough to have it at a venue with no barricades and no need for extra security. No Pressure, Haywire, and Secret World are the main support with the locals for the Detroit show, being Cyadine, who set the tone high as fuck right out the gate. Which was needed as it felt like a joint weight was lifting off the collective shoulders of those in the room. Secret World made me get in my feels and into my pocket to find my vape pen and rip it about 13 times after their set to prepare for Haywire. I had a feeling that I wasn’t going to get many spots for them, and I was right. I had to stay in the same spot; sometimes that’s the case. Unbelievable set, and I have all of Austin’s speech on video, which will be uploaded as a reel at some point this weekend on Instagram/Facebook.

No Pressure brought so many stage dives. I took a moment to just count the stage dives for a moment, and it was laughable how many SUCCESSFUL dives there were. Made me proud, Detroit. Not too many people “laying down” or “Waving at people to catch them”. After watching videos this week of other shows, it made me feel better about things in that regard.

Drain has proven time and time again that they are the kings of crossover in the 2020s. The new record is a whirlwind of headbanging and dope smoking anthems that make my sessions so much better. At the same time, it’s music I can color Unicorns with my 7-year-old daughter, too. It is palatable, but my daughter also has great taste.

Anyway, fucking why am I talking? No one is here for this.
